Based on actual events. I actually used to drive a 1984 VW GTI and I actually really really wanted to see a UFO. If I ever did have a close encounter I really wanted to go with them. This is the story of just such an encounter, but our hero gets left behind. Maybe he hesitated, or maybe he just wasn’t what they were looking for. Either way, all he can do now is keep searching the heavens and dreaming of what could have been. Interstellar love is cruel.
